GetMoody Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes Our policies and procedures on the collection, use, and disclosure of Your information when You use the Service and tells You about Your privacy rights and how the law protects You.

Interpretation and Definitions

Interpretation

The words whose initial letters are capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in plural.

Definitions

For the purposes of this Privacy Policy:

• Application refers to GetMoody, the mobile application provided by the Company.
• Company (referred to as either "the Company", "We", "Us" or "Our" in this Privacy Policy) refers to Wynyard Grove Labs.
• Country refers to: United Kingdom
• Device means any device that can access the Service such as a cell phone or a digital tablet.
• Personal Data is any information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual.
• Service refers to the Application.
• Service Provider means any natural or legal person who processes data on behalf of the Company to facilitate or improve the Service.
• Account means a unique account created for You to access our Service.
• Group means a place You are invited into to share mood with its members.
• Circle means the personal, individually-consented list of people You connect with directly.
• You means the individual accessing or using the Service.

Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at children and We do not knowingly collect Personal Data from anyone under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in Your country). If You are a parent or guardian and believe Your child has provided Us with Personal Data, please contact Us at the address below and We will take steps to remove that information and delete the account.

Collecting and Using Your Data

Types of Data Collected

Account data. When You create an account We collect Your email address, a username, and a display name.

Mood data. When You check in, We collect the mood You select (happy or sad) and the date. A history of Your daily check-ins is kept so You and the people You share it with can see a trend over time.

Group and Circle data. If You create or join a Group, We store Your membership in it. If You send or accept a Circle connection, We store that connection. This is how We determine who is allowed to see Your mood.

Device token. If You enable notifications, We collect Your device's push token so We can deliver notifications to it.

Sign in with Apple. If You sign in with Apple, Apple provides Us with a unique identifier for Your account and, on the first sign-in, a refresh token We use solely to revoke that sign-in on Your behalf if You delete Your account. We do not receive Your Apple ID password.

We do not collect Your precise location, contacts, photos, browsing history, or any advertising identifier, and the App contains no advertising or analytics SDKs of any kind.

Use of Your Data

We use the data described above solely to operate the Service:

• To create and maintain Your account and authenticate You.
• To show Your mood to the members of Your Groups and Circle who are permitted to see it, and to show You theirs.
• To let You nudge someone in Your Circle who has not yet checked in.
• To deliver push notifications You have opted into.
• To prevent abuse and enforce the rate limits that protect other users (for example, limiting how many invite codes or searches an account may attempt).

We do not use Your data for advertising, profiling, or to train models, and We do not sell it.

Who Can See Your Mood

Your mood is visible only to people You share a Group with or who are in Your Circle, and only while Your "share mood" setting is turned on. You can turn mood sharing off at any time in Settings; doing so does not remove you from your Groups or Circle, it only hides Your mood from them. Your own mood is always visible to You regardless of this setting.

Retention of Your Data

We retain Your account and mood history for as long as Your account is active. You can delete Your account at any time from Settings, which immediately and permanently removes Your profile, mood history, Group memberships, and Circle connections. If You signed in with Apple, deleting Your account also revokes that sign-in with Apple on Your behalf.

Third-Party Services

The App uses the following services to operate:

• Supabase — hosts Our database, authentication, and backend functions. Supabase acts as Our Service Provider and processes data only on Our instructions, secured by row-level security policies that limit exactly which rows any given request can read or write.
• Apple (Sign in with Apple, Apple Push Notification service) — used to let You sign in without a password and to deliver push notifications to Your device.

Supabase's privacy policy is available at supabase.com/privacy, and Apple's at apple.com/legal/privacy.

The App does not include analytics services, advertising networks, or any other third-party SDKs.

Sharing of Your Data

We do not sell, rent, or trade Your data. Your mood is shared only with the Groups and Circle connections You have chosen, as described above. Beyond the Service Providers listed above, We do not share Your data with any third party, except:

• If required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.
• To protect the rights, property, or safety of Us, other users, or the public — for example, investigating abuse of the Service.

Your Rights

Depending on where You live, You may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete Your Personal Data. You can exercise most of these Yourself directly in the App:

• Access and correction — Your profile and mood history are visible to You in the App at any time, and Your username, display name, and notification preferences can be changed in Settings.
• Deletion — deleting Your account in Settings permanently deletes Your Personal Data as described under Retention above.

Security

The security of Your data is important to Us. Every table holding Your data is protected by database-level row-level security, so a request can only read or write the rows it is entitled to, independent of the App itself. We also require that anyone who blocks You cannot be seen to have done so, and that nobody can enumerate other people's data through search. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure and We cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update Our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify You of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes are effective when posted on this page.
